The project is a high-end residential development consisting of five individual villas in Kokini Hani, a village just a few kilometers inland from the coastal town of Heraklion.

Located at 100m above sea level, the plot offers spectacular views of the sea, with the site morphology greatly influencing the design approach to the project. A 15m slope determined the strategic direction and the overall concept: three cascading platforms of diverse villas placed in such a way that each unit commands unimpeded views of the sea.

The masterplan was designed in such a way that any traffic is hidden from view and the main parking areas are located below the two lower platforms. The highest and lowest areas of the plot are destined to be communal gardens for the enjoyment of residents.

The clean and decisive forms of the design and the use of local materials together valorize and accentuate the connection to the vernacular context.
