Private House X Parga, 2024

This 200-square-metre house in Parga emerges as a celebration of the connection between interior and exterior spaces, with architecture serving as a frame for nature rather than a barrier to it. The transformation began with the bold decision to strip back the building to its original concrete bones. What emerged was a light-filled canvas that set the stage for the entire design approach. The vision centred on creating a home where every room maintains a dialogue with the lake—effectively turning this green space into the project’s beating heart. Monumentality defines the interior spaces, yet there’s an underlying warmth that makes the home feel deeply liveable. The material palette speaks to this duality: polished metals catch and reflect light throughout the day, while artisanal textures and minimalist furniture crafted from wood and natural stone add organic warmth to the composition.
